Temple lamps casting a warm glow through strings of marigolds and delicate foliage. Lamps & Leaves is intrinsically Indian: the kind of invitation that evokes the fragrance of temple flowers, the sound of bells, and the warmth of rituals passed down through generations. Rich, traditional, and deeply festive.
The intricate background patterns weave together the iconography of Indian temples and wedding celebrations. Marigold strings frame the invitation with the same spirit they bring to mandaps and doorways. Every card is handcrafted from seed paper made using upcycled cotton textile waste in our solar-powered workshop in Agra. After the celebrations, your guests plant the card and watch basil, marigolds, or wildflowers grow. The lamp's light fades. The garden it grows, doesn't.
